Reefer

Hot off the press – new 2019 work inspired by Morocco : the shapes reminded me of Moroccan ‘kif’ cigarettes, although they usually smoke it in a pipe!  Vivid / livid green against a highly textured red/yellow – see the detail below. I added the top black squares to balance the piece – I want the eye to be stimulated to move around each print, exploring the image, finding new ways of seeing it each time. Image size 50x50cm
